SMM IHRC volunteers in Poland help children for Christmas 2020
Volunteers from Specjal Monitoring Mission International Human Rights Commission (SMM IHRC) in Poland, Ms Leli Kagermanova, Natasha Deshieva and Mr Ibragim Kagermanov, delivered today, on December 18, Christmas gifts to 45 children arriving at the Center for Foreigners in Warsaw.
Due to the COVID pandemic, volunteers were unable to enter the Center and hand them over in person. The employees of the Center turned out to be extremely helpful, taking gifts at the gate and distributing them among their pupils. Among the gifts, there were also sweets and fruit, that the youngest accepted with joy. There was also a sweet cake for the employees of the facility to thank them for the enormity of their daily efforts.
Volunteers also remembered about 20 foreign families living in Warsaw, of which the youngest also received Christmas gifts.
The volunteers of the Polish SMM IHRC Group would like to thank Mrs. Jadwiga Maroszek for technical assistance - Manager of the Social Assistance Center, Branch 2, 83/87 Wiktorska Str. in Warsaw and the employees Ms Marta Jakubiak and Ms Katarzyna Jaworska.
The Secretary General of the IHRC would like to thank all sponsors and donors for their help in organizing the first such action on the territory of the Republic of Poland. We hope for the development of this group and help a growing number of the youngest and the elderly in this country.
It should be remembered, that SMM IHRC volunteers are already working in 92 countries around the world helping and implementing social and humanitarian programs guided by the words ..
Because what we do today, we do for Generations ..
