IHRC Distribute Food
What we do 2021 > Asia > Bangladesh > Persons with Disabilities
... Distribute Food and Provide Care for Disabled and Helpless People.
Disabled people are large minority groups, starved of services and mostly ignored by society, live in isolation, segregation, poverty, charity, and even pity.
Due to discrimination, they do not go to public places and not free to get those rights that a non-disabled person gets.
The International Human Rights Commission believes that everyone in society should have unrestricted access to a quality standard of living.
As an organization working to protect the dignity of human persons, the Secretary-General tries to inspire other people to assist the vulnerable in getting back better and cater for.
Over the weekend, the Special Monitoring Mission of the International Human Rights Commission in Bangladesh through the Zonal Coordinator, Mr. Saqil Reza Shakil prepared food and reached out to 200 physically challenged in Chapai Nawabgonj District Rajshahi of Bangladesh, providing them food amongst other social assistance given.
The charity work was officially monitored by Peace Ambassador Mr. Mohammed Elias Serazi of the International Human Rights Commission.
